Rounded corners regression after applying effect

There is a workaround that requires using Shape Corner in the Effects panel. However, this only works if all four corners of the rectangle have the same radius. If the corner sizes are inconsistent, Shape Corner doesn't allow for individual corner adjustment, and you have to use the Corner panel instead, which makes this workaround unusable for that scenario. https://youtu.be/akNbqo8wqo8

PDF fails to open and displays a blank artboard

Update: I found out why these PDFs were failing to display; I had the Import AI Data from PDF setting enabled and as soon as I disabled it, the PDFs are now opening in VS without any issues!

The latest VS update is failing to display some jpeg images.

Steps:

Use the Import command, click and drag. Result is a rectangle without any attributes (no fill or stroke) and also minus the image
Using the Link command will place the image erroneously displayed as a grey image
Drag and drop from Explorer (with Link Dropped Files unchecked), will place nothing on the artboard
Drag and drop from Explorer (with Link Dropped Files checked), will place a grey image on the artboard

@VectorStyler Ah - I had been interpreting the order wrong - I thought it's built "base up". Yes, now it works and makes very much sense. @Devil-Dinosaur I downloaded your preset and now need to find out how to load it I was thinking about shape effects because this can then be wrapped into a Layer style, so there is some kind of workflow of "switch off layer effect visibility to draw -> turn on effect visibility to see" and keep everything live.

@William-Kansepa I did not yet receive the file. But from the image it seems that some ligatures (in this case "fi") are not translated back to glyphs.
