<![CDATA[Shapebuilder somehow triggers save, and then the app crashes. (1.1.065)]]>When I'm doing some shapebuilder operations, after a few seconds I get a warning that the file couldn't be saved, and I should try saving it with another name. However, the app just hangs at that point and I either have to force close it, or it closes by itself. At no point did I try to save it manually.

I also noticed that when I tried substracting a shape from another, the second shape disappears as well, instead of cutting out the shape.

It could be a resource conflict issue (there are some problems, that I have to identify).

Try removing the settings.xml and workspace.xml files from the VS user data folder (when VS is not running), this will reset VS.
