The bug will be fixed in the next build.

The value of 4096 is too high.

The defailt document settings are in the settings and workspace files.
In the Help menu there is a Reveal Workspace folder command.
This leads to the settings and workspace files. If you can send me those I will try to replicate this issue.

VS saves the panning location when opening documents (or templates), but it does not when creating new documents.
