I'm sorry to mention the node selection problem again. The node tool can only select nodes instead of paths, and this operation still needs to be improved. It is very important in video demonstrations. While in VS, it can only operate after locking a path, which is very inconvenient.

The node simplification in VS is very difficult to operate. Sometimes the same property can be operated on path A, but has no effect at all on path B. In the video, for the simplification, the same property will result in completely different simplification effects in the zoom - in and zoom - out views of the drawing, and sometimes it will even cause a chaotic effect and damage the original path. However, the simplification setting in Inkscape is also simple, with only one custom setting (simplification threshold). If you are not satisfied with the result of one operation, you can do it several more times, which can best maintain the shape of the original path for node simplification to achieve a satisfactory result.

The node deletion in Inkscape can also ensure that the curvature of the original path will not be damaged as much as possible. VS cannot achieve this effect. Please improve these three functions above. Thank you.

I'm not sure about point (3), can you send me an example where curvature is not maintained
