General usability principle - active input fields

Example from snapshots. When I select New snapshot a dialog appears prompting for a name, but the input field is not active. I have to click in it with the pointer or press TAB.

All such dialogs should have the cursor activated in the input field and the suggested content pre-selected like this:

Essentially the state you get if you hit tab today.
