      Hello,

I was wondering how to create this 3D effect in VS?
I am not talking about the shadow, on the left side, that not the problem (drop shadow or black circle with Gaussian blur, ...).
I am talking about the small highlight on the right side, that give the effect that the half circle is not flat but more 3D.

      Thanks.

        Hi

Here a Short attemp of mine.
You could use one shape with a drop shadow
and another shape with a inner shadow (set the
color to white in the Effect) and put them on another.

Or use both Image Effects on the same Shape.
But im shure there are also yet other ways to
        do that.

@Subpath you inspired me to see how close I could get. Attached is the Vstyler file for reference, @MajorTom. Look in the Image Effects Panel for the noise, shadow, and highlight values.

@vectoradmin there are some odd shadow lines to the right of the imitated circles. They appeared when I grouped them to crop them with a rectangle. Not sure why they appeared, but when you ungroup them, they disappear.

@Victor-Vector The lines are caused by the clipping. One of the shadow effects thinks it is a margin and casts a shadow from it. I ad this to the backlog and try to figure out a solution.
Meanwhile, as a workaround, instead of clipping, just cover the outer margins rectangles?

@vectoradmin thanks for the quick bug fix, the clipping is working now.
                    Here the final graphic.
Important: Not my idea, I saw it somewhere in the internet but was interested in, how to recreate it.
