      I would like to lock the rotating pivot (so that it doesnot move with the object) and move the object somewhere and do other task like rotate etc. Can we have that option of locking the pivot point in context menu of right click of mouse or in transform panel.

        @Jayanta-Das Just to clarify: would this mean that when the object is moved, the pivot stays where it is relative to the canvas?

            And what do you think about such a global pivot that could be a pivot point for e.g. all objects placed inside the layer / project? In fact, sometimes modifying the shape of an object causes a pivot shift and it gets messy.

              @encart Don't know it came up in my mind while working in a project. I think limiting it to a single or compund shape. Rest, you people think about it, is it going to be useful for all or just me thinking some nonsense😜
