Images that differ from the document color settings
It does not display properly after placement.
Is this a specification to notify the difference in color mode?

      One of my several solutions

      Can I make a suggestion?
II think it would be nice to be able to check the image profile with VS using "Content Links".

Reveal in Finder does not work on the Content Link palette.
I had to register VS in macOS "Security & Privacy"> "Full Disk Access".

@861475_VctSt Yes, the color profile is not imported separately per image. When importing CMYK the document (or common) CMYK profile is used. Same for RGB. I add this as a bug.
What kind of image format was used?

I also add the Reveal in Finder as a bug.

Since there are many combination patterns, I have not tried all of them, but similar results are expected.

          (Example A)
          Document settings:
          Color: CMYK
          CMYK: Japan color 2001 coated
          Intent: Relative

          Import image
          Color: RGB
          Profile: Adbe RGB (1998)

          Early symptoms
          The import area looks black.

          (Example B)
          Document settings:
          color: RGB
          RGB: Adobe RGB (1998)
          Intent: Relative

          Import image
          color: CMYK
          profile: Japan color2001 coatedd

          Early symptoms
          The import area looks transparent.

          (Example C)
          Document settings:
          color: CMYK
          CMYK: Japan color 2001 coated
          Intent: Relative

          Import image
          color: RGB (1998)
          profile: TIFF

          Early symptoms
          The import area looks black.

          ❓ ❓ ❓
          (It's confirmed)
Should I set "Full Disk Access"?

Is there a plan to check the properties of imported images with VS?

            If possible, I want it.

@861475_VctSt Yes there is a plan to import and use the color profile of the image. This is treated as a bug.
You can enable Full Disk Access for now as a workaround for reveling in finder.

sorry. It was a mistake in expression.

It is a function to see the outline of the imported graphic as "document information" in VS.

@861475_VctSt This one is not clear.
Is this about showing information about the imported image, line width, height, color mode, profile etc? And where to show this info?

Maybe an example of what this feature should be would help.

                    That's right.
For example, I wish I could see it in the "Content Link" panel.

This allows us to check for images that are data inappropriate for import and reprocess if necessary.

                    For example, in Adobe Illustrator
                    Document Information Panel> Link Information

To me it's important to see the DPI value of a bitmap image after it's been imported in the document, so I can know if it's good enough for print and resize it or… use something else.

Would displaying the DPI value of the selected bitmap at the head of the context panel be difficult do implement? Currently when you select a bitmap you see just '{Image}' displayed there. Not very informative.

(When you scale down the image on the canvas, the DPI would increase, and if you scale it up it would decrease).

@b77 I think this is easy to implement, but it will not make it into the next build (for this week). It will be implemented in the build of next week.

Furthermore, it is preferable that the "embedded color profile" is also displayed.
                              Expectations continue.

A small but very useful feature for us.
