Flipping ungrouped objects results in the objects losing their position relative to one another

It seems like I am only able to copy and flip selected objects and have them remain together in the same position to one another is if they are grouped prior to flipping... this seems like a bug or is it something I missed prior? Most of the time I am flipping one object so I may not have noticed.
Recently I've been flipping multiple ungrouped objects at one time and seeing them go all over the place. -
@Boldline Yes, there seems to be a regression here. This is a bug.
