      @VectorStyler 🙂

      "Transformed fill" in right click menu ... does what?

        @Ingolf If the shape has a pattern fill, enabling 'Transformed Fill' scales the pattern when you scale the shape.

        If it's a gradient fill, the gradient angle changes when the aspect ratio of the shape is changed.

        @VectorStyler Btw, since it's a bit related:
        When 'Transformed Content' is disabled for a container shape, rotating it still rotates the objects inside along with it. Should this happen?

            For groups, this option is ignored, by design. But it would be easy to enable it.

              @VectorStyler If disabling 'Transform Content' for clipping containers would lock the size, position and angle of the shapes inside, it could be a solution to the question asked by @William-Kansepa here:

                just posted a video in the thread you mentioned
                how Affinity Designer, Xara and CorelDraw handle it

                    Only temporarily. Enabling the option (if we want to transform content again) would apply all current transforms, unless converted to curves.

                    I think here we would need a special scheme where the transforms / shape effects are applied to the shape only.

                      Yep, it shouldn't do that.
                      Are you saying that this means another special command is needed for this, or that making 'Transform Content' do this properly is not that easy?

                        I think the Shape select tool (context panel buttons when Transform tool is active), that currently only works with composite shapes could be adapted to work with regular shapes also and make all changes on the shape only not the whole object and its content.
