Seeing objects in composite

Once I was fumbling with a composite group I could see the items - fold out the composite - like a group. Not sure how I did?

@Ingolf Not clear what you are looking for. Is this in the Layers panel?
I assume the composite group is a group with the Composite shape operation.

Yep. My memory perhaps confuse things, I might just have performed a 'Break apart' on the composite but the thumbnails in the layers panel where generic. It looked different.

The composite was just two shapes as a composite union.
