An age old standard feature across apps is when you draw a shape or selection area, even when box drag screenshoting in mac

Before you release the mouse click you can press down space bar to reposition the object before committing to its shape and position

I cant get it to work with shapes in vstyler. When i drag to create a shape and the press the space bar the object doesnt move it just continues to creation scale up and down the shape.

BUT i can get the function to work when i draw an anchor point and while still pressing the mouse click i can hold down the space bar and reposition the anchor to a desired position and then release space bar and contnue to angle the handle bars.

here is a screen recording of the operation in other apps
(i forgot to record it in the box selection reposition in figma
and the mac os screenshot reposition)

I hope you can implement this on a global level on shapes and drag selections before releasing the mouse press

      Thanks

@ncic Added this to the backlog, indeed an important feature that is missing.

            @VectorStyler
            this is amazing.
            thanks for the quick implementation!

            question:
is it possible, while doing this operation, repositioning while holding down space, to get the active object to snap to other objects but to on the opposite sides of where the cursor is.

in other words i guess that the actual sides of the object snaps not the cursor position.
i havent seen other 2d vector software do this either.
aleast neither figma nor illustrator doessnapp the actual sides only "the cursor side"

Thanks @ncic for requesting this feature.
@VectorStyler it seem there is some delay in the movement of the object. You can see in this recording

Yes, this could happen while holding the space key, especially on Windows. I will try to improve it.
