In light of the craziness between Adobe and Pantone, someone decided to create a spot color palette based on Pantone's numbering system and called them "Freetones". I had heard of it for a few weeks and decided to give them a try. I downloaded them and installed the ase file into VS without any issues. I'll be trying them out going forward. From what others have mentioned who have used it, it's not perfect, but it gives a close representation of the color and that the real priority is that your printer uses the real color when they print them
Here is a direct link to the file https://www.culturehustleusa.com/a/downloads/-/3fd2488317c69eb9/93effcef41e75f39
Here is the link to the site where you can "purchase" them for free.

You don't have to make an account or choose any payment option. You can also use fake info in the form. the file was downloadable right there on the site after filling the spots in with random info.
people were complaining on twitter about the personal info requirements and he replied that they can use made up info
