I assume it is the same data in the "New Doc" window and the "Artboard options" window regarding the document size. If the size of the document is already set in the Artboard section and a preset can be saved, why would we need the same data in the "AO" window? Couldn't the interface be simplified?... Just asking.

Yes, it probably would. But here is the reason for how it is now:

        • the width / height and type of the artboard should be something quickly accessible when setting up a document, so these are "exposed" in the document setup.
        • but the AO view should also edit all artboard options in case the user wants to create several presets while in there.

@VectorStyler Thanks, I understand this idea but some date are clearly identical, thus why not just move all the data for artboard size in the ND window and maintain in the AO window more advanced options?

it would make it even more complicated.

@VectorStyler Well, I understand. In this case, why not remove the redundancies in the "Artboard options" window?
It can be confusing to have all these different ways of changing/adjusting the same parameters whatever they are. It's not an issue, but at the beginning you always wonder if they are exactly the same settings.
