      I've added a stroke through he appearance panel. I now would like to edit the inner stroke like any stroke but I don't see how ?

        Ok, I've found another way (kind of, with offset path) but it would nice to be able to change into curves such objects with several strokes.

          @Pat Edit the stroke attributes or the shape?

          The stroke attributes can be edited in the Appearance panel:

          The shape cannot be edited separately.
          For that we instead should use the Offset Path live shape effect, and then convert to curves.
