Is it possible to restore an "artboard" or a file?!
The artboard rotated due to the careless use of a key combination and then it disappeared when I tried to undo it.
      Several weeks' work is gone.

„Reveal File“ opens an empty Artboard, but the File has still the size of 11,4 MB, so there must be something.

I saved the "empty" file as a pdf and opened it again in VS. After clicking around wildly,
the file appeared with the vector drawing created so far, including the background template.

Vectorstyler without German language menus is not for me.
Sorry, but I will buy or rent Adobe Illustrator again. At my age, frustration tolerance is very low.
Vectorstyler is probably a product that matures with the customer. I would like to achieve a good and usable result quickly.
So it's not useful for me. „Good Night, and Good Luck“ and Thank you for your Help!

@Buntstift Cmd-0 should zoom to the artboard with the drawing, unless you hid
the objects or the current layer (see the Layers panel) or you selected something
else (the master or reference canvas) in the Canvas & Artboard panel (Option-A).

(Object menu > Show All will unhide all the objects).

If none of this helps, I would send the file to the developer.

(There is a valid reason why the app is not localized yet — user feedback can still
bring major UI and User Guide changes to version 1, so it's usually better to leave
          localization for version 2.0).

MacBook Pro (Intel) running Monterey 12.6.4
