      I thought I could achieve what I wanted by masking what was outside the text.

      I thought I had created a mask from the text and reversed it. I saved the mask and thought I had applied it to the design under the text... it doesn't work the way I want it to. Is this possible? Thank you very much.

      Edit: it's working as intended by other ways but I would like to understand how to create a mask and copy it on several layers. Thanks !

        @Pat Was this using the Transparency Content object role? There might be a bug here.

          @VectorStyler No, it was through the "Transparency" panel.
