    boolean operation auto-closes open stroke?

      Would it make sense to allow a boolean operation to automatically close an open path shape like in the pic I attached?
      I know in illustrator, if a fill/stroke has an non-closed line, if you have it selected and click on "merge" from pathfinder, it will automatically complete the shape.

        @Boldline Depends on the boolean operation. For example intersection works differently on open shapes (cuts the open shape). Union (and merge) could do the closing. I add this to the backlog.
