    Could/Should items be automatically grouped when placed into VS?

      If I am copying and pasting vectors from another file or program, would it make sense to have them automatically be grouped in VS upon entry? I feel like this could be a good thing, espeically if items get pasted on top of existing items because unless you move them right away while still selected, you have to click on each to regain control over them

          VS to Affinity Designer 1, no
          Affinity Designer 1 to VS, yes

          Clip Studio Paint Vector Layer as SVG to VS, yes
          VS to Clipstudio Paint as SVG Vector Layer, no

          Corel Draw to Affinity Designer, yes

          Corel Draw to VS, yes

          Win 11
          CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
          GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.
