Issue with the Shape builder tool

I want to use the SBT on these two objects:

It seems ok but when it is done, the colour of the external forms changes:

@VectorStyler I uninstall VS beta & install the v.1.1. This issue also occurs with version 1.1.

@Pat Yes, this part did not change in 1.2, the bug is also in 1.1

@Pat I finally got to this one (the dashes problem is fixed now). But I cannot replicate this shape builder issue.
Could have something to do with how that small rectangle is positioned over the shape.

Can you send me this exact sample (with the small rectangle and all)? Thanks!
