Typography 1: Paragraph Leading

I think I've found where my confusion about leading started.
Paragraph leading works like character leading.

Leading shouldn't be there at all.
Interferes with character leading in character style panel.
There it is covered and in the right place. Can go! Like so...

Or vice-versa like so... (QuarkXpress approach, more logical in my opinion)

@Ayo I will have to think about this (after the next build) on how to reconcile the leading issues.
The problem is that character leading "override" might be needed for some fonts. -

Better because:
All things concerning character > Character panel
All things concerning paragraph > Paragraph panel -

No, just some cursive fonts for example.
One thing to keep in mind is that VS is a drawing app and typography might be used in a non-traditional way. -

That is a bad argument to justify mistakes in the basics.

Does not appear to me as a primary drawing and secondary text app, judging the extensive and advanced typographic options.
How it is used is up to the users, I hope. We don't all make fancy psychedelic spirals and lucky patterns.Still want me to stay connected?

Absolutely. I know VS is a bit of an acquired taste
I'm a bit slow today, preparing the new build (will take some time).
