How can I edit the size of rotated text box?

What is the proper way to resize a rotated textbox without distorting the 90° angular corners (as well as alignment of contained text)?

I want to alter frame somewhat like the non-rotated box beneath ...

in the shape effect panel

@Raaskot The text box seems to have 2 transformations. The Shape Effects panel contains these transformations and can be individually removed there also.
