Object with spot colors disappears/change in pdf-output

I’m trying to generate pdf’s with spotcolors for cutting transfers on a Roland plotter. This demands a pdf-file with spot color CMYK 0x00 (100% magenta only) and spot color specifically named “CutContour”
Yet attempting to do so in VS fails and the spot color change to cmyk 0000 (white or no color). However: The spot color name is preserved successfully.
This is no problem in AI pdf's.

@Raaskot It seems to be that Acrobat can open the resulting file but other apps have problems.
I will try to find a solution for this before the next build.
