In VS, the open path can still be filled with color, and I couldn't find a place in the settings to cancel the display of the fill. Can this feature be added?0_1718462933922_mmexport1718461977959.png 0_1718462950970_mmexport1718461979723.png

@monsterfox There is no option to disable this. If an open path is given a fill style, then it will fill its closed version (without closing the path).

I will think of a feature to control this, maybe a document level option?

@VectorStyler The document level option is feasible, please refer to the options in CorelDRAW.

I'm confused by the request but open to understanding other views. What is the value of this in Corel or adding it in VS? If the user wanted a stroke with no fill, why not just use a stroke with no fill? Wouldn't it get confusing to have the fill swatch show a color but the result on screen is empty?
How does this feature get utilized best in the real world? Just curious, thanks!

@Boldline Case 1: A graphic filled with color, when splitting the nodes, the situation mentioned above will be obtained. Case 2: Importing a third-party file, it is not smooth, with many nodes, whether the path is closed is unknown, and it is easy to cause misguidance.
