Sometimes VS gets very sluggish as I am working and I try the usual steps of saving and closing down the program and reopening, clearing out the memory, closing other apps, etc. Sometimes the RAM use soars quickly. I realized when I was trying to send the file to the developer, that it was 125MB! I went to check the level of history and had 100 or so actions in ti - so I wasn't totally sure if that was enough to balloon the size to 125MB - but when I erased the history, it did bring it down to amore normal 10MB
What about adding an option to warn the user with a popup if the VM file size reaches a certain level (file size can be customized)?

Maybe some other form of warning that a popup. Could be in the Document Info panel?
But this slowdown issue is a concern, as it should not slow down even with a larger history.
Was it slow when saving the file, or when trying to make changes (editing)?
