    Is it normal to be able to open more than one Layers panel?

      The question is in the title.

      Windows 11 Build 26200.7171 (25H2)

        @debraspicher Yes, this is a feature. A couple of use cases:

        • open an other layers panel and set it to some location, then drag and drop into the first layers panel at some other location. Avoids the scrolling, etc issues.
        • open a layers panel "glued" to a canvas (multiple canvas documents), and use the objects while working on an other canvas.
        • open a layers panel "glued" to an open document, and browse / use its content while working on an other document.

          @VectorStyler Gotcha. I see the benefits. I was more wondering if it were a bug or not. The extra panel seemed to be opening itself so I wasn't sure if it were a result of a bug or maybe I opened it by accident.

            @debraspicher The extra panel can be opened from the Layers panel menu, It can also be opened from the Canvas panel by clicking on the icon in a canvas row.
