copy and pasting text into the save dialog panel does not work. If I copy text from an outside source,
🍎 macOS Tahoe 26.2, Mac mini (M1, 2020), Chip Apple M1, Memory 16 GB

@Boldline Yes, this is a known bug, and it is MacOS version dependent.
