Mirrored guideline when rotating objects

I thought of this idea when I was trying to get the right rotation and look for the dual set of oars in my shirt design. Here is the video for reference
Basically, I'd love to either see a ghost of the image on the flip side that moves in reflection to the moves I make on the main side. Or have the ability to flip a copy of an object (in this case an oar) and rotate them at the same time reflectively. This could be an option anytime you have two objects selected - they could be rotated and turned reflectively from each other.
Having this option either as a ghost mode before committing one side and then taking the steps to copy it and flip it, or if it could be totally done using two previously reflected objects - it would help a lot in laying out a design. Let me know if that does not make sense- thanks!
