At first, are Paths allowed to be used with Composite Shape Booleans
e.g Enclosure ? It works but I encountered, some unusual things.

      .
I've explored some ideas of using composition shape booleans with paths
and found that paths can also be used this way.
However, I encountered, well, let's say, unusual things.

I created a rectangle from four independent paths and the
      Composite Shape Boolean Enclosure.

All four paths can be individually selected and moved
independently with the shape tool. So far, so good.

They can also be selected and bent with the Node tool.
However, the end node of a path cannot be selected and
moved. Or rather, it works with some paths, but more often
      it doesn't.

However, if I insert a node into the path, this node can be moved.
Any Reason for this Behaviour ?

      Here a Video

      Win 11
      CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
      GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.

        Yes.

However, if I insert a node into the path, this node can be moved.

I think this might be a bug in the node selection.

@Subpath try creating the composite shape with groups (this is similar to Illustrator).
First create group from the 4 lines.
          Then select a composite operator.

            Thanks!
Seems that this was the solution, to group the paths first
and then applying the composite shape mode. Its working
            so far.

Made a Video for everyone who is interested.
To create a "normal" Shape from that use
            "Expand Appearance"

Here the Video which shows the Steps

            Win 11
            CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
            GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.
