Could we add more decreasing stops after "1" on the tools using the bracket keys for scaling?

Currently, with all the tools where the bracket keys can be used to increase or decrease the size of the tool, once we decrease the size down to "1" and then press the right bracket key again, it decreases to "0" and is essentially unusable. (unless we want the entire shape erased).

Could we add three more default steps to the process when decreasing lower than "1"?
I know they could be added manually, but these seem like they would be useful to everyone.

Could it go in decreasing bracket press order: 1, 3/4, .5, .25, 0?

Sometimes I am zoomed in to an area and using the path brush or eraser and the "1" is still too big. I'd like more options to size it down in minute amounts.
