    could we set VS to recognize it even if it's clipped inside a group?

      If we create a halftone using the halftone tool in VS, could we set VS to recognize it even if it's clipped inside a group?
      I created the white dot halftone using the halftone tool and clipped it inside a composite grouping of black letters. I added other vectors to the design and grouped it all together.

      When I select the group and then go to styles>halftone>expand halftone, that option is greyed out.
      I had to go in and find the layer and select the sublayer with that halftone on it and then go back and expand the haftone

        @Boldline Fore expansion yes, but not for editing (for that you will need to select the object).

        I will try to fix this.
