OTF variable fonts are supported. It could be something related to that specific font from Adobe.
Did you test with other variable fonts (line Anybody)? -
@macos Did you install the font with the Adobe CC font manager?

@macos I tested with this font from Adobe, it seems that these are not supported by VectorStyler.
I opened a bug on this and will try to add support for these.
