Text on a line

Draw an oval. Now I want to place text outside the bottom curve of the oval so that the text is upright and reads from right to left. In AI this is accomplished by dragging the cursor downward to relocate the text.

@Inspiredmac Use the 'Text-on-Path' tool from the toolbox to drag the text to the bottom of the oval.

If you need it to read from left to right, in the 'Text on Path' panel (Panels > Text) you need to click the 'Check to reverse path direction' button at the bottom.
