@Wurstkäs No idea why version 1.1.014 is not yet available in the App Store (I'm not the developer), but can you download and install it from https://vectorstyler.com/releaselog/ ?

And if you try "Check for updates" in the help menu?
Where do you get updates from then.
From AppStore ? Or VS website ?

Normally you get the latest build from the VS website.
        Btw another German 🙂

@b77 Hello, no, i think the apple-store-version and the vectorstyler-version are two different releases.
The vector-styler version appears to me as a trial version - and my trial period is expired. 😉
When you buy an application in the apple-store, the new release usually replaces the old version. (Sooner or later)
And i think there are some additional treatments by apple.

@Subpath Hello subpath, as i replied to b77, the apple-store version is a special handled Apple release, i think.
For example, there is no "Check for updates" in my help menu, because the updates are released by Apple.

@Wurstkäs You should be able to download and install the version from the website, but indeed it won't work if your 42-days trial expired.

I suppose version 1.1.012 and 1.1.014 were simply not submitted to Apple, being considered beta versions that needed more testing.

I guess 1.1.015 will be out sometime next week (usually Tuesdays) and hopefully submitted for review… 🙂

I agree with @b77. If I understand things correctly, not every beta gets uploaded as an official update in the Apple store due to the high number of builds consistently released (usually weekly or so). This rate of build release is much faster than the average program's release schedule. Having to keep submitting them to Apple takes time that adds up quickly. As @b77 mentioned, it also allows for a period of time for new features and bugs to get worked out before it goes fully public on the apple store. If I remember correctly, 12 was the recent main build release and a couple issues were found with it right away, prompting @vectoradmin to quickly fix those regressions and upload a new build the next day (14)
I can understand the anticipation and difficulty with patience - the updates are so awesome and so many things get fixed and improved each release.

@Wurstkäs Yes, the app store version is a bit delayed. But the next update (ASAP) will be available from the app store also.

Ok, i think compared to another well known vector application, it`s just a luxury problem. 😉
                        Sorry for my impatience. 😉

                              @Wurstkäs I don’t think @vectoradmin is entirely human 😉

@vectoradmin sleeps well only when the updates
