    Can we make strokes more directly selectable?

      I've noticed it can be difficult to directly select a stroke in a design. I usually need to select the fill attached to the stroke to get it to register in the color panel appropriately.

      My example here is not perfect because the background color is black, just as a fill on the left side is black with a yellow stroke, but hopefully it still can be seen - where I attempt to select the yellow stroke and it does not register in the color panel until I select on the accompanying black fill to the left of it

      Is there a way to allow the stroke itself - in this case the yellow stroke to be more easily clicked on directly? Sometimes going back to an older job, as in this case, I forgot the yellow was a stroke and thought it was a fill - when I kept trying to click on it, it was not responding and eventually I realized it was a stroke
