      If I wanted to recreate this yellow diamond, how would I do so in VS? In Illustrator I would make a square and turn it on it's end and then use what they call "pucker and bloat" to suck in the sides. I was looking into options in documentation and probably missed it. I'm sure it already exists in VS!
      thanks!

        @Boldline Distortion -> Circular Bump is the closest I can find, but it results in a different curvature of the sides.

        Also important to know: the sides of a rectangle (before convert to curve) can be bent using the Node tool.

          @vectoradmin Thanks - the distortion bump was pretty close. Is this something that could be added to the list for either improving the curve for or adding the pucker and bloat to VS in some other way? (not with that terrible name though!)
          The more I think of it - the distortion bump is already close - could another setting be added to that in order to set the curve more?

            @Boldline The strength of the pucker effect control could be labelled... pucker factor? 😄

                @Boldline

                Sometimes I am also interested in
                which way may exist.

                After a few try´s, found a easy one in VS.

                  @Subpath Thank you for pointing this one out. But if I am not wrong, what @Boldline is advocating for is a pucker and bloat effect which would work on all kinds of shapes.

                    yes, your right but in the meantime
                    this would help for those diamond shapes

                      @Subpath @William-Kansepa you're both right on this one.
                      That is a great solution @Subpath and @William-Kansepa, ideally @vectoradmin can add that pucker and bloat effect to Distortion -> Circular Bump so that it can be applied to any shape.
                      I appreciate all the suggestions - as @Ingolf might say, the pucker factor is strong with this one!
