When I have a closed path I want to cut a section away from, after I cut both locations, it wants to remain grouped together. Is the only way to separate them to use "break apart"?
Is there a way using ungroup could work? Or is that messing up the way things are structured? It feels like "ungroup" has very little use or power in VS! lol Maybe I'm used to Illustrator clumping a lot of things into "ungroup" lol

@Boldline Yes, when cutting or breaking a path into multiple parts, it still remains a single object with a composite shape. So an additional Break Apart is needed to break it into separate objects.
