Size proportion lock in Shape and Properties panel

I usually use properties panel because most of the changes can be made from there. But there is no proportion lock in Properties panel. I have to change both the height and width or have to open Transform panel to lock the proportion and change the size of the shape. I don't if other easy way exist. It would be time shaving if proportion lock of size is option is provided.
