Options for exporting VS customized effects such as gradients

  • Is there a way to "expand" (for lack of a better word) styles and gradients in a native VS file that could be opened in Corel or Illustrator and printed as such? without them turning to raster?

It's awesome to use the gradient options in VS for example, but that could only be printed out onto films if it stays in the native VS ecosystem. if a design has a gradient and I want to send it to someone using another vector program, is there a way to do this?

  • @Boldline Exporting as SVG should retain editable gradients, also PDF and PostScript if 'Output Gradients' is checked in the Export dialog.

Assuming you are having trouble with normal gradient types (linear and concentric), which app opens these and rasterizes the gradient?

@Boldline Only Linear and Concentric gradients without gradient shape adjustment can be exported as vectors. PDF or SVG should work.
All other gradient types are flattened to images when exporting.
