What is "Recent Fonts" pulling it's list from?

I love the idea of the "recent fonts" list to go grab a recently used font in a VS file. Each time I go to pull up a font I used in that very design 20 min earlier, it's not listed, but fonts from jobs past would be in there. Is the list created based on full saves of the document first?

@Boldline Looks like a regression caused by the live font preview. It will be fixed in the next build.

Maybe you know it already ?
In the meantime you may cold use
Menu > Edit > Attributes > Copy/Paste Character Styles
So, you could write your Text and switch the Font to the
one you like to have.With the Shape Picker Tool you could also
switch between Fonts but it will change
the Text too. -
@Subpath The Favorite Font set is a good way to collect a few fonts that are frequently used.

I know that way and i like it.What I mentioned for @Boldline is only meant as a
temporary workaround.
