When I am using the pen tool and I click a second time on the last node to make it a cusp mode, for the path to suddenly go straight and then back to a curve? I captured it in this video where I intentionally went slower than normal to be sure to show it properly (ignore the first couple attempts)
is there a purpose served by having the line go straight and then return to a bend? When done in the normal speed of using the pen tool, it feels a little clunky and not smooth.

Looking at the way Affinity handles this, this aspect feels much more polished and smooth. In most areas of pen tool use, I prefer what VS offers, but there are some things I want to see VS adopt that Affinity currently uses - such as this.
