Tip - manage Recordit Gifs
-- This solution is for WindowsFor all who want to manage their Recordit Gifs.
Of course you could delete the old gifs.
But I found an alternative solution.

On Windows "Recordit" saves a "User.config" in this path:
C:\User\ (your windows name) \AppData\Local\Freshout_Media....
It is an XML File that can be edited in any Text Editor.

This "user.config" contain a List with all Recordit Gif Animations
and has this structure: |DateTimeStampFilename|DateTimeStampFilename|....
"2022-01-31T13:38:52.000Z%oIanwQ04UH|2022-02-01T18:49:46.000Z%JdWcsrHwJ7|2022-02-01T18:50:29.000Z%cP0nR0X53X|..."
(on Windows you get this char | this way ALTGR-Key and ">")

So if the list of Your Recordit Gifs are gone to long then copy
this User.config file and remove some of the some of the older Filenames from this list.
(Of course Backup your Original "User.config")
Older Gifs are at the beginning of the list, newer recordings at the end.
This way you can keep your list short without having to delete old recordit gifs.

You can also store copies of the "User.config" in monthly or yearly folders.
