Selection mode depends on the direction

I found an interesting fact in Rhino 7 today.
Depending on the direction of the selection, you can select all objects touched by the selection or only those inside.

interesting, but I find it a bit curious
that in both cases a selection box is used.

In the second case, in my opinion
a simple line would be totally sufficient

if you have many small objects
a selections box will make sense
