Is there a tool in VS similar to Illustrator's curvature tool?

I know we talked about b-spline and other tools from Inkscape and Gravit Designer (now Corel Vector!). It's just not quite the same.

I know path sketch tool can roughly, but Illustrator's curvature tool and sometimes smart nodes in Affinity can make really nice curved and long curves quickly, and for tracing they are elegant and efficient tools. So that's what I'm looking for.

Not yet, it is in the features backlog. Was been requested before. I will try to make it for the 1.2

No rush. Better make to make it great and stable than to hurry. 🙂

It is worth waiting to implement until the algorithms are on par with those of Adobe Illustrator. They are simply so beautiful and correct. It's a pleasure to draw with it.

I just compared this to the measly smart nodes from Affinity, and the difference is insanely huge. Serif has taken the math out of vector design. That's their contribution after 30 years in the business.

When the curves are drawn like in Illustrator, the feature is gold.

Ah, seems to help with a nap before thinking these days.

The curvature tool in Illustrator must be Adobes equivalent to the spiro path in Inkscape - that we discussed here:
