PDF Scaling and Import

When importing a multi-page PDF document, you only get the first page of the document. Further, that page is scaled to fit the artboard size and not at the original 1:1 scale. Is it possible to present an import dialogue to allow 1:1 scaling and to also allow a choice of pages to import from the document ?
Similarly, when opening a PDF document, you get the whole document arranged on separate artboards - all at the correct scale fortunately, but again some choice of which pages to open rather than have the whole thing ?
