Blending: how to get a specific path & not another ?

Well, work in progress here. I started this and it is fine:

I want to get the same path for the blended objects with another object and I get this (I change one colour to show you):

but I would like to get a crescent shape and not this semi-circle shape. I've changed all the parameters of the blending but no way. Any idea ?

@Pat What is the direction of those two shapes?
When hovering with the Node tool over the shape, a small arrow indicates the shape direction.
In blending the start of one path is matched with the start of the other.

Object -> Shape -> Reverse Path Direction can be used to change the direction of a path.

I don't know what happened. I've started again from scratch and it is fine now. I'll check later to see if I can find the issue.
