I have 3 artboards and 5 letter drawings and I wanted to draw another one but VS did not follow, impossible to continue in/with the same file.

I am wondering how to improve the performance of VS. My W10 PC has an old graphics card. Would changing it improve VS knowing that in the preferences "Software" is selected. I could increase the ram but I already have 32 GB... I'll have to check with my W11 PC.

      W11 Pro 25H2 - 12th Gen Intel(R) i7-12700K 3.61 GHz - RAM 64 Go - NVIDIA GF GTX 4070 Ti - Intuos - Dell UP3216Q / Eizo ColorEdge
      W11 Pro 25H2 - 12th Gen Intel(R) i7-12700KF 3.60 GHz -RAM 64 Go - NVIDIA GF GTX 3080 - IntuosPro- ProArt PA329C

@Pat The graphics card has no impact here. BTW: did you try the NVIDIA option in the Compute Engine?
Ram is also more than sufficient.
        The CPU is also good.

There must be something else. Send me that document and I will try to replicate the issue on Windows.

@VectorStyler Ok, I'll test it this evening with W11 and I'll send you the file.

@Pat BTW: was it slow on Windows 10 also? from the config in the footnote it looks like the Windows 10 machine is better.

@VectorStyler For these tests and trials, I work mainly on the W10 pc.

@Pat There is no reason for the slowdown, other than a possible bug with some effect or gradient type.
If you send me that document I will try to replicate this.
