      In Illustrator you can enter dimensions for a bounding box. This is handy if you create a rectangle or an ellipse and afterwards want to change it's dimensions. I don't see this option in VS?

        @Clausj There is the Transform panel to set the width and height.

            @Clausj In VS these panels can also be docked horizontally (top or bottom) and they change their layout to horizontal.

            And when the horizontal panels are docked vertically (left or right side), they switch back the layout to vertical.

              Also interesting to open and to look at
              is the "Shape" Panel

              With it you can edit different parameters of the
              different Shapes that VS offers

              Menu > Panel > Shape
