Is there a step I am missing to see fonts listed in the "favorite fonts" default group?

I found a font I wanted to make a favorite and starred it.

It now also shows as a favorite font when I look at it in the character side panel

If I go back to the font selection area and click on the "favorite fonts" catagory, nothing is displayed however

@Boldline Here it works as it should — I click the star icon, the font gets added to the Favorites list and it's available there.

Maybe you did something different when adding the font? Can you record exactly what happens there?

@Boldline You didn't by any chance click the 'Favorite Font' entry in the Character panel's menu?

That is a checkmark, and if you click it, the font is deleted from the Favorites list.
