Is there any way to "un-float" this window, to make it a tabbed window in the main document space?

A detached document can be placed into the main window, by dragging from the document title leaf (the one showing the zoom percentage), into the main window. If this does not work, then something is broken.

Also, the "Panels - Arrange" menu contains some document view arrangement schemes, with "Collected" placing them into a single tabbed main window.

Drag-and-drop of files onto the application window should not result in floating windows. If so, then this is a bug.
Floating windows can be produced by drag&drop from the document title leaf (the one showing the zoom percentage), this is intentional.

Got it...I don't know how the floating window was created initially, probably ID10T problem; it works as you suggest above. Thanks for your help.
